Health and Well-Being Consultant: Christina Brewer
Christina's yoga journey began as a way to cope with anxiety and draw upon her dance background. She found that yoga and meditation provided a healthy form of healing that allowed her to maintain a connection with movement. Over the years, she pursued training as an Ashtanga Yoga teacher at the Ashtanga Yoga Nilayam in Los Feliz, under the guidance of Noah, for a period of six years.
One notable aspect of Christina's journey is her commitment to making yoga more accessible and inclusive.
To further her journey as a yoga instructor, Christina obtained her 200-hour certification at YogaWorks and is currently a Registered Yoga Teacher through the Yoga Alliance. With her certifications in hand, she began teaching at gyms, offering her services as a volunteer at non-profit organizations and schools, and also providing private group and one-on-one yoga sessions.
Her commitment and passion for yoga led to her recognition as a Top Pro on Thumbtack, indicating her high level of expertise and customer satisfaction in her field. Christina's teaching approach is not just about physical postures; she emphasizes the importance of connecting with her students and encouraging them to embrace their experiences during each yoga class, one breath at a time. She believes that how one approaches their yoga practice on the mat is reflective of how they approach life off the mat, highlighting the holistic and transformative nature of yoga.
